Continuing the successful actions of UNITA alliance towards the internationalization of curricula, we are happy to inform you that a new edition of the Internationalization of Curricula Through UNITA (ICTU) matching event will take place at Universitatea de Vest din Timisoara (UVT), June 5-6, 2024.
The deadline is 8 March 2024. The Internationalization of Curricula Through UNITA matching event is a unique opportunity to deepen or to initiate international collaborative actions and joint programmes between the alliance's partner universities. The event is dedicated to academic or administrative staff who is coordinating study programmes which have the potential to develop/gain an international dimension through UNITA, meaning through cooperation with other UNITA academic staff representing/coordinating study programmes at other alliance partners (study programme coordinators, academic department coordinators etc). The registrations include the details of the study programme you wish to register and that of the person in charge of the registration, who will subsequently participate in the event IF we find a match among participants.
Participation costs will be covered as follows: travel and accommodation by the home university, meals (lunches and dinners) and event related materials by the host university (UVT). After the initial expression of interest and preliminary matchmaking, mid-March 2024, the registered participants will be contacted concerning the next steps. Pre-reserved rooms for accommodation with discounted prices will be available for confirmed participants and the details concerning this aspect will be disseminated in March to all UNITA offices.
The possibility of participation will conclude an average of 10 participants/university in order to ensure a high-quality event and as many matches as possible. The event is targeting mainly the coordinators of study programmes with a potential for internationalization, but there is no limit to the participation in the event to this specific group.
