the AI models will be plentiful (though responsibly trained ones more rare), but the ultimate differentiator will be the final mile of creatively empowering interfaces (ideas for prompts and all sorts of new tools to iterate, integrations, and automatically augmenting prompts for the benefit of outcomes (and all the safeguarding measures and services, which are actually pretty hard).
Absolutly. Creative problem solving will be key in the AI world.
Totally agree, and interfaces beyond the digital UX but the physical as well! My team and I did a project with Dr. Cara LaPointe at Johns Hopkins Institute for Assured Autonomy. Some of the research on they are doing regarding safety measured respective of AI, are very important and deeply impactful if the GOV learns from them. Between their work, Adobe, and a few others, there is some hope we might be able to educate legislators and decisions makers on important matters regarding AI. Because models are being generated faster than they can be understood. Happy to make a connection if you think it's relevant. https://iaa.jhu.edu/
Mind over matter, matter over mind.
Yes! We need to think of AI models like adding a coach to a team. You dont want them to tell you ‘the solution’ but help you come up with better solutions faster to gain new perspectives. Coaches inspire because of the questions not the answers. (So yes, we need to pay attention to giving great prompts)
Indeed It's all about "how you use" technology, not "what it is"
This, in the present moment,, is what product and design teams need to internalize
