Job Context
The Merchandiser holds the accountability for working closely with the team and independently managing respective accounts from Costing, product development and sampling stage till shipment ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and timely dispatch in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Have to handle orders from negotiation to shipment with good confidence level.
- To make costing, TNA, Sourcing of trims & accessories, & yarns.
- Have sound knowledge on yarns quality and sources.
- Have to follow up sampling, production, shipment and hand over goods to forwarder.
- Have to report day to day status of orders to designated authority.
- Have to keep close follow up with yarns and accessories suppliers.
- Make sure all fabrics and accessories are in house on time for production.
- Have to follow up SMS order for short lead time.
- Have to keep close follow up with commercial department for import and export purpose.
- Have to work under a team and have to report to team leader as well as managing Director.
- Timely transfer of client's technical specification, requirement, queries to all related department.
- Responsible for visits to manufacturers to appreciate production processes.
- Sample follow up and coordinate with other departments related to orders.
- Communicate with QC related to product and brief them all the requirements of the buyer.
- Follow up with the merchandiser related to final inspection and make a shipment planning
- Meet with suppliers and manage the distribution of stock, possibly negotiating cost prices with suppliers.
- Manage, train, supervise and discipline staff.
- Any other relate job(s) as assign by the management time to time.

- Must have ability to work as a team with outmost honesty morality and integrity.
- Must be handle SMS buyer.
- Must be capable to present of all different styles with details in buyer meeting in home & abroad.
- Must have sound knowledge of all kinds of yarn and price range.
- Must have to know sweater knitting techniques in modern computerized machines.
- Capable to execute merchandising fm development to shipment independently.
- Must have to know about AQL 1.5, 2.5 & 4.0
- Experience to work with customer like Bestseller & Esprit
- Should be fluent and efficient in both written and oral communication in English.
- Must have computer literacy with good analytical skills.
- Preferred Male candidate
