WHO ARE WE?

I am so proud to be a Young European Ambassador. We call ourselves 'YEAs' for short. We're a vibrant network of creative young volunteers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, the EU and UK.

We raise awareness about the EU's cooperation and opportunities in our countries and do so many activities! I just love this network for giving us a bridge to build friendships with other young people.

HOW DO WE HAVE IMPACT?

We make a real impact by raising awareness on crucial topics, such as gender equality, human rights and the environment. Our strength is our celebration of different cultures and all that makes us unique.

Freya - EU Young European Ambassador

We help local communities and this is how our network makes a real difference. We run workshops, events, movie screenings and street action. We visit schools, universities, public fairs. We even provide recipes...the list is endless!

HOW DO WE DEVELOP SKILLS?

I've grown in all sorts of ways. There are so many opportunities, such as public speaking, writing, event organisation, Euroclubs and creating multimedia content. And our network is your network - we love new ideas!

From grassroots activities to participating in national, regional and international events, I've learned how to speak publicly about important issues. And I've made lifelong friendships too.
