"Learning - not waiting" is an application with educational games and video lessons for learning in elementary school. The application contains math problems, a multiplication table, the alphabet and interesting exercises for reading in Ukrainian in an interactive format.
In elementary school, children learn a lot of new things. To support the thirst for knowledge, it is important to offer an interesting learning process with elements of the game, and not to force the little one to read a primer or learn the multiplication table. Taking into account the age characteristics of children and educational challenges, the international organization War Child Holland and GS "Osvitoria" in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine created the project "Learning - not waiting". Educational content for the application was developed by the best teachers of Ukraine, so all materials correspond to the state program of the National Academy of Sciences. The learning process in "I study - not wait" is very exciting. Children watch video lessons and play interesting minigames based on the topic. We have created such a consistent system to make it easier for students to learn the material. Thanks to interesting educational games in the application, it will be easier for children to acquire primary education in the school classroom or remotely. Our guides Sofya and Andrii will always give verbal hints on what to do next for the student. More complex tasks, for the solution of which children may need an additional explanation, are accompanied by video instructions with examples of solutions.

Mathematics for 1st grade📑

Mathematics is a very important subject. In the 1st grade, little brains get to know numbers and learn to count. With fun games in "I study - not waiting", learning mathematics is exciting and interesting. A variety of pictures, numbers and puzzles are used in the 1st grade program so that children can find solutions to addition and subtraction problems and learn to count. Mathematics for grades 2, 3, 4 📚

Starting from the 2nd grade, students perform more complex tasks: learn the multiplication table, get acquainted with division, count to a thousand, study geometric shapes, solve problems and equations, get acquainted with the concepts of length, mass, and speed. Students consolidate the acquired knowledge at 3 levels: concrete, graphic and abstract.

Reading for 1st grade 📕

Reading is a step-by-step process that begins with learning letters, sounds, and syllables. Everything starts with the alphabet - the basics of reading and speaking. The primer is the main book for a first-grader with the alphabet, examples of letters and words. It is important for children to recognize letters and know what sounds each represents before they can form words they already know by speaking. Already in the first grade, students are able to read individual sentences and understand their meaning.
"I'm studying - I'm not waiting" will help little brains to acquire the first skills necessary for reading. Pupils are waiting for interesting tasks, for the performance of which they will have to apply the already acquired knowledge. However, the games are not so complicated that you get bored quickly.

Reading for 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade 📒

In the 2nd grade, students know the alphabet well, can read and deepen their knowledge of the Ukrainian language by studying the rules. It helps not only to write and read, but also to express thoughts: it is oral and written speech that affects the development of thinking.
In the 3rd grade, children get to know different parts of speech, learn to combine them into sentences, examine texts, learn speed reading. At this age, many people become interested in books. In our application, you can read the texts of modern Ukrainian writers.
The application "I study - do not wait" is suitable both for distance learning and independent development, as well as for classes in the classroom.
