I really dig this Black Ice– Abstract Print by Karri Allrich. Those who know me, know I don’t usually put prints, but this is just too delicious for words…and the original is already sold.

Its inspired by the New York school of abstract expressionism. It is very textured piece is painted with active, energetic, bold knife work and lots of thick paint. Contrasting carbon blacks and snowy whites with flecks of icy grey (and small bits of earth tone underlayer).
