Palace Embankment in St. Petersburg

Palace Embankment is the promenade on the Neva River in the center of St. Petersburg. It runs from the Fontanka River Embankment to the Palace Bridge, beyond which it continues to the Admiralteyskaya Embankment. Behind the Fontanka it continues with the Kutuzov Embankment.

Length – 1.3 km.

The buildings of the State Hermitage, the Russian Museum, etc. are located on the embankment. The above-mentioned buildings occupy the Winter and Marble Palaces, respectively, hence the name Palace.
