ينظم برنامج حوار المتوسط للحقوق والمساواة الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي جلسته السادسة والأخيرة من سلسلة تتضمن ست نقاشات مواضيعية عامة عبر الإنترنت حول تحديات المجتمع المدني في المنطقة. ستعقد هذه الجلسة تحت موضوع "المجتمع المدني والاستدامة التي لم تتحقق: مشكلتا التمويل والاستقلالية الذاتية " وذلك في 29 أبريل/ أفريل 2021 الساعة 2.00 بعد الظهر (بتوقيت وسط أوروبا).

وفي هذا الصدد ، سيتناول النقاش التحديات والفرص التي من شأنها جعل عمل الشبكات الإقليمية وكذلك الأنشطة الإقليمية للمجتمع المدني في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط ممكنة ، بالاضافة إلى تقييم العوامل الداخلية والخارجية التي تؤثر على مجموعات ومنظمات المواطنين ، مثل الوصول للتمويل، الضغوط الخارجية أو القواعد الأمنية.

وفي هذا السياق، سينضم للجلسة مشاركين من ذوي خلفيات مختلفة من نشطاء المجتمع المدني، الباحثين، والصحفيين من الدول الأورو-متوسطية للتعرف على الاستقرار المؤسسي لكيانات ومبادرات المواطنين ، فضلاً عن القدرة على الجمع بين العمل القائم عبر الإنترنت والعمل الغيرمرتبط بالانترنت بعدما تسبب الوباء في تفاقم الصعوبات للعمل بفعالية في المنطقة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك ، ستتاح للمشاركين الفرصة لتوجيه أسئلتهم وملاحظاتهم إلى المتحدثين من خلال الكتابة في نموذج الدردشة.

#معلومات عملية:
* سيستمر النقاش لمدة 90 دقيقة مع توفير الترجمة للغة العربية والفرنسية للمنظمات / الأشخاص المسجلين.
* ستتم استضافة النقاش على منصة زوم  كما سيتم بثه مباشرة على فايسبوك  
* سيتمكن المشاركون المسجلون فقط من الولوج إلى منصة زوم  والاستفادة من خدمة الترجمة المقدمة ، وفي الوقت ذاته، يمكن لبقية المشاركين متابعة النقاش على فايسبوك مباشرة والتفاعل مباشرة مع المتحدثين من خلال كتابة التعليقات والأسئلة.

ومن الجدير بالذكر أن هذه السلسلة من النقاشات المقامة عبر الإنترنت ستُعقد في إطار نشرة حوار المتوسط عبرالإنترنت   "تشييد الجسرالبحري : مراجعة للمجتمع المدني المتوسطي  ” والتي صدرت في 18 فبراير/ فيفري 2021  ، والتي تستكشف عمل ودور المجتمع المدني المتوسطي وكذلك الشبكات والكيانات العاملة في المنطقة في مواضيع مختلفة (مثل: الهجرة ، حقوق الإنسان ، التفاهم الثقافي ، البيئة).

حوار المتوسط للحقوق والمساواة هو برنامج دعم فني إقليمي ممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي ( الادارة العامة لسياسات الجوار الأوروبية ومفاوضات التوسع) لفترة ثلاث سنوات من كانون الثاني/ يناير 2019 إلى كانون الثاني/ يناير 2022، يهدف بشكل عام لدعم دور مؤسسات المجتمع المدني الناشطة على المستوى الإقليمي في تعزيز التنمية المستدامة والتماسك الاجتماعي والقدرة على التكيف والصمود في المنطقة والتأثير في عملية صنع السياسات في دول الجوار الجنوبي للاتحاد الأوروبي وذلك في المنطقة الأورومتوسطية.

Med Dialogue for Rights and Equality EU-Programme is organizing its sixth and last session of a series of six thematic online public debates on civil society’s challenges in the region. This session will be held under the topic “Achieving sustainability in civil society work: the issue of resources and autonomy” on April 29th, 2021 at 2.00 pm (CET).

In this context, the debate will address challenges and opportunities to make the functioning of regional networks and the regional activities of civil society in the Mediterranean region possible, assessing the internal and external factors that impact on citizens’ groups and organizations, such as the access to funding, external pressures or the security rules.

This event will gather participants from different backgrounds like civil society activists, researchers and journalists from euro-Mediterranean countries to find out about institutional stability of citizens’ entities and initiatives, as well as the capacity to combine online and offline work after the pandemic has exacerbated the difficulties to operate effectively in the region. In addition to that, participants will have the opportunity to address their questions and remarks to the speakers by writing in the chat form.

Practical information:

✅ The debate will last 90 minutes
✅ It will be hosted on Zoom and also broadcasted live on Facebook.
✅ English, Arabic and French translations will be provided on Zoom only, for registered organisations/ persons.
✅ Questions raised by participants will be addressed to the panel in writing via the chat form.
✅ Your access to the debate will be sent to you by email, within 24 hours before the event.

It is recalled that this series of online debates is held within the framework of the Med Dialogue’s online publication “Bridging the sea: A review of Mediterranean civil society” which was released on February 18th 2021, and exploring the work and role of Mediterranean civil society networks and entities, working in the region on different topics (i.e.: migration, human rights, cultural understanding, environment).
