How global media covered Russia's invasion of Ukraine
NEW DELHI: Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision to launch an all-out invasion of Ukraine has sent ripples around the world and triggered a massive backlash from the West.
Expectedly, the biggest ever attack by one European state against another since World War II is being covered extensively by media outlets around the world.
Here's how the global media covered the Russian invasion of Ukraine:
The Russian invasion of Ukraine made it to the front pages of all leading American papers, with the likes of NYT, Wall Street Journal and Washington Street publishing large banner headlines on their front page.

The NYT's double-deck headline read 'Russia attacks as Putin warns world; Biden vows to hold him accountable'. The Washington Post's stark headline read 'Russia invades Ukraine' with a terse strap 'Putin's tolerance for risk catches some by surprise'.
