In 2017, the first investment impact project "Family Dairy Farms" was launched in Ukraine.

Today, it counts 169 family farms in 12 regions of Ukraine. Part of the family farms survived the occupation and, unfortunately, 2 more farms are located (near Snigurivka, Mykolaiv oblast) on the captured territory!!!

During the war with russia, the number of our participants increased by 4 farms. In addition, for the first half of 2022, in total, all project participants paid more than UAH 5 million in taxes to the budgets of various levels.

In addition, the 'Family Dairy Farms' project is launching a site for targeted support of family dairy farms. Information about the families most in need of help will be posted here.

Thanks to the help of those who care, the project carried out sowing — on March 17, the project team purchased alfalfa seeds for the amount of UAH 140,000, incl. 83,000 UAH of these funds are charitable contributions, and 57,000 UAH are funds of PSP 'Ukraine'. In addition to the above, a field of 250 hectares was sown with spring wheat.

In order to get the opportunity to develop, the farmers of the 'Family Dairy Farms' project actively participate in various grant programs. 10 applications were sent for receiving a grant under the state program ЕRobota, direction 'Own business'. Here, among the leaders of requests are the opening of a cheese factory and the purchase of equipment for processing dairy products.

In May, 10 applications from farmers for the 'Family Dairy Farms' project were approved for financing by the Ukrainian Farming Support Fund. However, the funds never arrived due to their lack in the budget.

We do it to win our "economic front" and sustain food safety for our country.

But in a situation of war our efforts are extremely limited, and we can not cover totally the need of our farmers in:

- fuel

- veterinary medicines

- feed for cows and calves

- fertilizers

- energy generators

- etc.

In addition, husbands were mobilized in some families, and wives were left with children to run the household, which is extremely difficult. They need to hire additional labor from their villages.

That is why we appeal to all international communities and to everyone personally with a request to help Ukrainian farmers!

Any of your contributions, even a few dollars or euro, will be a great support for farmers and will give them the opportunity to preserve livestock and develop their farms and villages!
