A Catalyst for Human Health Research
A new state-of-the-art facility will soon become a hub for the Technion's top minds in medical and engineering research. Thanks to the support of the Adelis Foundation, the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology will establish the André Deloro Building for Transformative Biomedical Sciences and Engineering. The new center, the only one of its kind in Israel, will be devoted to interdisciplinary research. Its mission will be to advance research in human health by facilitating collaboration among researchers from different faculties and disciplines.

Horev Sports Arena Inaugurated

The new, 2,000-square meter sports center, built with the support of the Friends of the Technion in Israel and around the world, is dedicated in honor of Maj. Gen. (ret.) AI Against Antibiotic Resistance
Technion researcher Prof. Roy Kishony has developed artificial intelligence technology to help match the antibiotic to the patient. His AI-based tool produced a 35% drop in the need to switch antibiotics, lowering the risk of developing resistance to them.
