Bologna Process: EUA hosts seven-part webinar series

02 September 2020

EUA is pleased to present a seven-part webinar series on the different areas of work in the Bologna Process. The series is composed of seven webinars and will run from 29 September until 1 December.

With the next Bologna Ministerial Meeting taking place in Rome on 18-20 November, it is timely to shed light on several topics closely related to universities’ current policies and practices, but for which the added value brought by the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) may not always be clear.

Each webinar will last one hour and will include an opportunity for Q&A. The first webinar of the series will offer a broad horizon scanning on how the Bologna Process has impacted higher education institutions, as well as future-looking perspectives. The concluding webinar of the series, which is open for EUA members only, will take place after the Bologna Ministerial Meeting, will feature a discussion with feedback and visions for the future from various European university leaders. In between, five webinars will address where the Bologna Process has made a significant contribution, as well as topics that are high on policy agendas – such as internationalisation and mobility, digitally enhanced learning, flexible learning and micro-credentials, quality assurance, and the social dimension of the EHEA.

The webinar series will be of interest to institutional leaders, including rectors, vice-rectors and heads of administration, as well as staff and students, higher education researchers and analysts, and representatives of other stakeholder groups involved in educational policy. The first six webinars are open to anyone interested in attending. All webinars are free of charge and registrations will be open until the end of the event.
