This research aims to explore the experts’ perceptions and willingness to adopt a carbon-neutral, green technology that uses CO2, water and sunlight to produce materials that go into consumer goods products. It is conducted within the EU funded Horizon 2020 project, SunCoChem (www.suncochem.eu).

The SunCoChem project aims to contribute a new technology to the field of carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS). Within the scope of the project, a solar-driven reactor is to be designed and constructed. This reactor will use recycled CO2 from industrial flue gas, instead of mineral carbon, and water instead of hydrogen gas from fossil fuels, for the production of chemicals used in consumer goods products.

Your participation is completely voluntary and will last about 20 minutes. You may refuse to answer any question or withdraw at any stage. The information you provide will be used just for this project and will be held confidentially. It will be kept in the marketing research lab of the International Hellenic University until the end of the project and it will not be shared with anyone. IHU will report to the project partners and publish the results of this research study in journal or conference papers (available to the academic community) in aggregated and anonymous form.
