On teaching cohesion of college English and ESPChinese Full Text

Abstract: Based on the status quo of ESP teaching in China,this paper analyzes the definitions and the theoretical base of ESP,and evaluates ESP courses by discussing the relationship between college English and ESP.From a perspective of connecting college English teaching with ESP teaching,it also suggests effective strategies for organization,teacher development,assessment as well as adoption of teaching materials,teaching approaches and learning methods in ESP teaching.
