To create CD cover follow these steps:

1. Start

Run the RonyaSoft CD DVD Label Maker by clicking on the icon on your Desktop or in the Start menu. If you do not know the size of your CD box, or you do not want to create a document from scratch, select 'Start from a Template' in the 'Startup Wizard' dialog box.

The 'Choose a Template' dialog box will open.

Select the template that you want. The most common:

The 'Choose a Template' dialog box has two sections - templates and preview. The preview section contains the selected CD case insert template and information about its size and expansion.

2. Create a design insert

To change the background image of a CD case, click on the button 'Load' in the 'Properties' window in the right side of the screen. In the 'Open an Image' dialog box select the desired size of the image and click 'Open'.

To change the picture settings, click 'Edit' in the same 'Properties' window of CD cover software. The 'Image Editor' dialog box will open. Here you can select the part of the image that you want to see in the background.

CD cover template already contains a background image and text objects.

If you want move any objects, select this object and drag the mouse cursor to the necessary location. A dashed frame will show the new position of the object.

You can add other elements by clicking on the appropriate item in the 'Insert' menu or on the 'Objects' toolbar of CD cover software.

To quickly edit the text of a 'Text' object, enter it into the memo field. To edit the text in the 'Text Editor', click the 'Edit' button.

If your text merges with the background image of your CD cover, you can put a rectangle, rounded rectangle or ellipse in this place, with the color that you need in this place.

To switch the outline on, select the 'Use Outline' checkbox.

To switch the filling on, select the 'Use filling' checkbox.

To set a color of an outline or filling, click the 'Color' button and specify the color in the 'Color Editor'.

Also, you can rotate the selected object of CD cover. To do this, drag the mouse cursor to rotate the object at a necessary angle. A dashed frame will show the position of a rotated object.

3. Save a CD cover

To save a CD DVD case insert for further editing, you can use one of two methods: 'Save' or 'Save as…'.

Select the 'Save as…' in the 'File' menu or on the 'General' toolbar, if this is the first saving the document. Or just select 'Save' to save a previously saved document.

Then select a folder, specify a file name and click the 'Save' button in the 'Save a File' dialog box of CD cover software.

To export a CD cover document to a JPG image, click the Export to JPG item in the Export submenu of the File menu. Select the appropriate option and press 'Save' button.

4. Print the result

To choose printer, print range and number of copies, click the 'Printer Setup…' item in the 'File' menu or on the 'General' toolbar. Make appropriate options in a standard Windows Print dialog box and click 'OK' to apply the settings.

The 'Printout Setup' dialog box will open. Select the print properties in the left pane of the dialog box. The 'Preview' pane shows a CD cover position on the page. Click the 'OK' button to start printing a document.
