Assistant – MIS, Child Protection

The Opportunity

The Assistant – MIS is mainly responsible for maintaining all of the CP information databases. S/he will play a key role in entering and managing the database system, will import and check large datasets, and regular entry raw data to the excel spreadsheet and different platforms as per project needs. The incumbent will provide updated data on a regular basis and helps to analyze the dataset. S/he will also ensure the data quality with the support of the team and will maintain a source of raw data and ensure the safety and security of the CP database as per organization policy.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience, especially in M&E, MEAL, and/or MIS area in an NGO/INGO.
  • Excellent knowledge of information systems, database management, and reporting, Basic knowledge in Power BI or Google Data Studio will be an advantage
  • Experience and skills in basic statistics, MIS, and report writing
  • Relevant software proficiency, particularly in MS Excel and Access
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, the ability to converse fluently in the English and Chittagonian dialect will be an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Statistics/Social Science or any other field
