This month, we celebrate Raumplan's second anniversary! For this occasion, we are happy and proud to share our latest work with you in our Summer newsletter.
De Centrale Overamstel
The City of Amsterdam selected 'De Centrale' (DC) as the winning entry for the tender in Amstel Business Park Zuid. The mixed-use building of 20.000 m2 maximises the symbiosis between the various programmes of creative studios, ateliers, creative companies and a hotel aimed at long-term stays.
DC is designed as a city where 'temporary living', working and recreation flow smoothly into one another. The building will operate as an incubator and will function as a catalyst in de development of the Overamstel area to a vibrant part of the city. (See more.)

De Omval Amsterdam
Raumplan has been selected as one of five finalists in De Omval competition in Amsterdam. The intention of our entry is to create a sculptural, all-sided building with a varied range of flexible spaces that are adaptable in time. De Omval combines an adaptable shell in a striking building, which has emerged from specific incisions in the shape of the plot. The result is a faceted floor plan that responds to its surroundings and through its sculptural form gives the relatively large volume a more appropriate scale. (See more.)

Penthouse Noorderplassen
Raumplan has been invited to design a penthouse of 300 m2 for a private client in the Noorderplassen area, a natural reserve in the vicinity of Amsterdam. Instead of making a typical open plan with a centered patio, this design intends to create an arrangement of spaces with carefully designed proportions. (See more.)
