The villa is perfect! The outside space is great with plenty of seating options and the pool is a really great size. Overall the house was immaculate, well equipped and in a great location to be able to walk into Kalkan. Suleyman was great in terms of communication and updates.

very welcoming chilled out atmosphere. in the centre of the town.
Lots of good restaurants - roof top in particular.
Lots of good restaurants - roof top in particular. Good choice of food - often served with an amuse bouche and a coffee.
Not sure if they extend to that in high season?
Shops good - in particular 'designer' handbag shops. Good quality and prices.
Harbour area attractive.
Thursday market excellent for a range of products including T shirts etc.
Safe and friendly.

A calming and friendly place with wonderful people.
A calming and friendly place with wonderful people. The beach is a bit rocky and no shaded areas so can be hot... the market is brilliant if you are after a bargain.
If you are an adult and older with most of your clubbing days behind you, this is the right place to visit.

It was our first time visiting Kalkan and we'd definitely go back! It was a family holiday with 10 adults ranging from early 20s to 70s - we got a big villa 'Eco Villa Super Star' which was really lovely.
The town is really nice, with the old town part and the harbour. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and the majority of our meals were great, particularly at Luna.
We did a couple of excursions and would highly recommend doing a boat trip with Whisper - we did a full day on the boat, stopping at various bays, they were really friendly and cooked us an amazing lunch!
We also visited Saklikent national park which was beautiful and a great experience!
We can't wait to come back to Kalkan one day!

Kalkan is a very pretty town.
Kalkan is a very pretty town. The locals are friendly and it felt very safe and our teenagers had a lot of fun and stayed out late. The restaurant staff are efficient and if you love a good quality fake designer item this town sell it all. The food is also of a high standard. The taxi drivers are friendly and its easy to get around. There are a good number of stray dogs, and on the whole leave you alone but my daughter was walking by one and it jumped up and grabbed her leg. Luckily it didn't break the skin, but there was no apparent reason for the attack. It made us give them a wider berth.

Kalkan is an upmarket destination.
Kalkan is an upmarket destination. Attractive hillside location and pretty harbour. Huge selection of lovely restaurants, many of them with rooftop terraces to enjoy the great views. Lots of jewellery and designer shops. Prices about 10% higher than resorts an hour further round the coast, eg, Oludeniz.

Very friendly played back place plenty off lovely restaurants and bars, great shopping, we went for a turkish wedding fabulous experience. Streets very steep and cobbled so don't take your heels! Good flat comfy shoes needed .good places to eat, teratca, mousarka, aubergine, only had four days which were mostly taken up with two days of wedding but good boat tours and has bus station which takes you to other places along the coast lots to explore

Everything was exceptional: from the location to the attitude. We had a wonderful stay with my family and we enjoyed every day. The hotel manager Halil was super helpful, friendly, very nice and welcoming. He helped us organize a short boat trip, recommended great places to go for a dinner and cared about how we like the stay. The rooms are well-equipped, clean and just next to the beach. The only thing about Kalkan is that this place is generally overpriced, so just be prepared to pay more for an accommodation, food and activities.
The view from our room was spectacular. The hotel offered a complimentary on-demand shuttle (by sea) from the hotel to Kalkan (last shuttle was at 18:30) although it did not run in rough sea conditions. A reasonable menu for lunch and dinner was offered although it did not change from one day to the next throughout our 8-day stay. (Of course one could go to Kalkan which has many restaurants - of varying standards and cruisine. In the evening, one would need a taxi to get back to the hotel - at a princely charge of 50 TRL)
we stayed in room 1112 (executive suite) and it was perfect with the best view of the sea and pool
Kalkan is just a 12 min walk down the hill which is easily done even in the heat and it’s only 30 TLR back up the hill after a day in one of the many stunning beach clubs that we liked to use after a morning by the pool
Kalkan in the evening is called the “little town in the sky” as it has so many room top restaurants which are all delightful
All in all you want go wrong staying here as hotel and town ate just beautiful
Papermoon was pretty, peaceful and perfect for our time in Kalkan. A wonderful family run hotel where we were made to feel so welcome by Mehmet and his family. The rooms and communal spaces were spotless. We stayed in a Triple room which was bright, airy and spacious. The home cooked breakfast was delicious which we were able to enjoy on the terrace. We would definitely stay here again should we return to beautiful Kalkan.
It was really nice experience and good value for money! Hospitable and friendly owners, delicious breakfast that also included Turkish cuisine, Kalkan Public Beach just 5 minutes away. So, the hotel is a good place for staying for 2-3 nights.
