Education makes the biggest difference to a less-privileged child. AECT serves the less-privileged children by educating them especially orphan , poor destitute and disadvantaged children and women.

Sylvester Chandra aged 54 years is the founder  chairman cum managing trustee of Aadithya Educational and Charitable Trust. He is in the field of social development for more than two decades with rich experience.  AECT  comprises of a young group of men and women as board of trustees is a registered charitable organization working with the Orphan,poor , destitute and needy children and in rural  Tiruvannamalai, Tamilnadu providing care and support through education, medical support, counseling and livelihood services in the community at villages directly.

AECT is a registered non-profit organization conceived with the goal of improving literacy and education among less-privileged children in Tamil Nadu. We work to instill in a child the curiosity to learn and to give him or her the key to the greatest pool of knowledge out there.The organisation provides youngsters a platform to serve the society and bridges the gap between the educated and the uneducated.


AECT focusing on alleviating poverty and social injustice. We do this through well planned and comprehensive projects in health, education, livelihoods and disaster preparedness and response. Our overall goal is the empowerment of women and children especially girls from poor and marginalised communities leading to improvement in their lives and livelihoods.

AECT collaborated in fighting COVID-19 health crisis. We are help distributing dry rations to feed the needy, raising awareness in our programme areas.



HOME BASED CARE PROGRAM

AECT child protection strategy is to first take steps to ensure families are able to survive by providing them with health, education ,food free and not by extracting work from the children. Secondly address the needs of the children who have fallen through the cracks such as destitute , abandoned and orphan children.

As of today there is no curative or preventive medicine and more and more persons in the age of 15-45 are infected every minute devastating many families and being a cause for the growing number of Orphan children and especially the HIV Positive children, it becomes more important to educate the people in the target age group with information and initiate preventive measures on HIV/AIDS continuously.
