CHRISTOPHER PEREIRA

JUST AN ORDINARY GUY

ABOUT CHRIS

Chris is from Mumbai, with basic education as his credentials. He worked for a major Netherlands based MNC for 21 years on their production floor. Prior to being employed for the MNC, he also worked for a number of smaller companies. In all of those years, Chris never let go of his dream of becoming a published author someday.
His minimal education hardly deterred his will to author a book. Every hardship, including the death of his parents, only made him stronger.
Chris believes in the art of storytelling, and of a story well told.
As an author, he desires that people read his books. As a person, he longs to tell every person that they can overcome anything with the power of their thoughts, the resulting work that will inspire them thereof, and lastly, of the will to persevere. That your shortcomings never fail you, but the lack of belief in yourself is what will fail you.

TEARS OF THE STARS

Tears of the Stars is a book written by Christopher Pereira.

Tears of the Stars is a “Reality Fiction” book. You may be very curious of the two contrasting terms that describe the book. Here’s a short explanation.

Reality - The book touches the sensitive topic of “Human Trafficking”, of how innocent people are lured, caught in its web, and finally become victim to this billion dollar industry. Some do escape and their accounts makes news, but many languish in the darkness.

Fiction - The story is of a young girl who is abducted by human traffickers. The story gets into the skin of every character and their battered emotional state.

To find out about what happens to an abducted victim, you, the reader will have to go to the State of Leona with Angelina, the little girl, with Maria, her mother, and with Corina Fonseca, another trafficked child.
