What: Encounter Camps offers a residential camp experience to discover more about life and connect with others, from a Christian perspective. Dirt bike riding on motocross and trail tracks is the main activity, catering for all riding levels and support with basic riding skills and bike maintenance. Each day starts with life discussion groups before heading to the track. Evenings are filled with camp games and life learning's. If weather conditions are unsuitable for riding alternative activities will be arranged.

Age: 13 -18 years old (high school age)

How: Get dropped off at camp with your own bike and gear (requirements available on our website https://www.youthencounter.co.nz/page/encountercamps/) and we will transport you and your bike, provide accommodation and food while on camp.

When: Sunday 27th September - Saturday 3rd October
(arrive Sunday between 4.00 and 5.00pm and leave Saturday at 11am)

Where: Pacific Park Christian Holiday Camp, 1110 Papamoa Beach Road, Papamoa Beach

Cost: $420 early bird price (to be paid by 31st August 20, after this date $450 full fee

Safety: We hold an Adventure Mark safety certification. Participants' safety is our priority on and off tracks, and their equipment needs to be up to our requirements. It is essential that all equipment is compliant upon arrival at camp.  Bikes and gear will be checked upon arrival and signed off.  Bikes and gear that are not compliant will need to be fixed by the participant prior to the bike being permitted to be used on camp.

Health checks will be conducted on arrival at camp and throughout the camp duration.  Our Participant and Volunteer health and well being is of interest to us.
