Preferred by Nature™: Our new multi-site certification

After a validation process of our offices in South America, Condor Travel is very proud to have obtained the Preferred by Nature™ certification for Tour Operators as a multi-site organization.  

Being the first tour operator to have this certification for all its offices at the regional level is one of the most outstanding achievements in pursuit of the sustainability of our work. This legitimizes us as a provider of responsible tourism services, meeting the international standard of the Global Council for Sustainable Tourism. 

Preferred by Nature™ evaluated the performance in promoting responsible practices in our operation and the impact we have in each of the six destinations where we have a presence: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Peru. Four months of an audit considered business, socio-cultural and environmental areas, obtaining a general score of 83.45% at the regional level. 

What does this certification mean in our operation? 

As Condor Travel passengers, travelers will be part of a positive impact experience in every way. They will enjoy a trip with a purpose, where each activity and visit they make responds to eco-friendly initiatives and empowerment of local communities and businesses. 

As clients of Condor Travel, we ensure that all our processes and negotiations follow a Sustainability and Quality Management policy, as well as policies to reduce the use of plastics and mitigate the carbon footprint. In this way, we will work together to design a trip that promotes local development and nature protection. 

This achievement fills us with pride and is important because it strengthens our comprehensive commitment to the well-being of our employees, the protection of the environment, the quality of service to our customers and passengers, and the development of our destinations and their communities. In addition, it sets the foundations for the beginning of a continuous improvement process for a more sustainable operation.
