The full form of the SVAYEM Scheme is Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment Scheme. This Scheme was launched in the year 2017 to provide financial Assistance to the Unemployed Youth of the State to take up income-generating Activities in sectors like manufacturing, Trading, and Services. 

Under SVAYEM Scheme Government will provide financial Assistance of Rs. 50000 each to 2 lakh youth to encourage Entrepreneurship among Youths. All Candidates will have to fill out the Online Application or Offline Application to get benefitted from this Scheme.

Atal Amrit Abhiyan Health Insurance Scheme

Atal Amrit Abhiyan is a new health insurance scheme announced by the State Government of Assam. Under the scheme, the government is providing insurance coverage of up to Rs. 2 lakh per year to each family of the state. The scheme was originally launched on 25 December 2016 and is still running. Assam Atal Amrit Abhiyan Application form can be downloaded in PDF format from the official website of the scheme. Atal Amrit Abhiyan health insurance scheme was launched for BPL and APL families besieged with chronic, sudden, or acute health issues.

Diseases Covered Under Atal Amrit Abhiyan

A total of 437 diseases would be covered under Atal Amrit Abhiyan which have been segregated into the following six groups.

1) Cardiovascular diseases

2) Cancer

3) Kidney diseases

4) Neo-natal diseases

5) Neurological conditions

6) Burns

The state government would bear an additional burden of Rs. 200 crores to implement the scheme in the state. The govt. also trying to empanel more hospitals under the scheme so that the residents can avail themselves the treatment without much problem.

Assam Sneha Sparsha Scheme 2023

Sneha Sparsha Scheme is a health care initiative started by the Health department And Family Welfare of Assam Government for children below 12 years. Under this scheme, the state government provides financial assistance for the expenditure of very high-end specialized treatment such as Thalassemia requiring Bone Marrow Transplant, Liver and Kidney transplant, and Cochlear Implant. NHM is responsible for the implementation of the scheme.

Objective Of Assam Sneha Sparsha Scheme

The main objective of Assam Sneha Sparsha Yojana is to provide the residents of the Assam with the expenditure of very high-end specialized treatment such as Thalassemia requiring Bone Marrow Transplant, Liver and Kidney transplant, and Cochlear Implant.

This will help the BPL and APL families for the treatment of their children and this will reduce the financial burden on them.

Treatment Provided Under Sneha Sparsha Scheme ::

Bone Marrow Transplant: Children with Leukeumia (Blood Cancer) and other conditions like Thalassemia, in which Bone Marrow Transplant may be considered as a mode of treatment will be offered financial assistance as per actuals up to maximum limit of Rs. 13.80 lakhs adequately per case for referral of such cases to leading Hospitals outside the state equipped with facilities for such treatment. Depending on the economic condition of the beneficiary the committee will decide whether to approve 100 % or 50 % financial assistance of the bill amount.

Cochlear implant: Children in need of Cochlear implant will be given assistance as per actuals up to maximum limit up to Rs. 5.35 lakhs per case for referral of such cases to Public/ Private hospitals outside the State or in the State including Medical College & Hospital, if necessary.

Liver transplant: For children in need of Liver Transplant, the scheme will offer financial assistance as per actuals up to maximum limit of Rs. 16.00 Lakhs per case. Necessary arrangement shall be made for referral  of such cases to leading Hospitals outside the state with state –of –the art facilities for such treatment.

Kidney Transplant: Similarly children in need of Renal Transplant will be given financial assistance as per actuals up to maximum limit up to 10.00 lakhs per case for referral of such cases to Public/ Private Hospitals outside the State or in the State, if necessary. Payment will be made as per actuals on hospital bills preferably at CGHS rates.

Artificial Limbs: Children in need of Artificial Limbs will be provided with financial assistance as per actuals up to maximum limit of  Rs.2.00 lakhs for Cosmetic Limbs and up to Rs. 5.00 Lakhs if Motorized Artificial Limbs is considered necessary.

Blood Cancer: For treatment of Blood Cancer in children with Chemotherapy, financial assistance as per actuals up to maximum limit up to maximum limit Rs. 5.00 Lakhs per case will be given.

Specialized Eye Surgery: For children in need of Specialized Eye Surgery like Retinal Surgery or Posterior Segment Procedures, will be given financial assistance as per actuals up to maximum limit of Rs. Rs. 50,000/- .

Tumors: Children suffering from various types of solid tumors needing costly investigations and treatment with Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy will be given financial assistance as per actuals up to maximum limit of Rs. 3.00 lakhs/- per case.

Neurological Anomalies: Children born with Neurological Anomalies like Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida will be given financial assistance as per actuals up to maximum limit of Rs. 3.00 lakhs for investigation, surgical treatment and rehabilitation.

Thalassemia: Financial assistance as per actuals up to maximum limit of of Rs. 3.00 Lakhs will be provided to children suffering from thalassemia , who are not fit for Bone marrow Transplant but require specialized treatment like splencectomy, blood and associated medicines.

Assam Mukhyamantri Sva-Niyojan Yojana 2023

Assam Government is taking major steps towards the Development of Assam state and Implementing various Government welfare schemes for the Livelihood of Women, Children, and Farmers. Chief Minister of Assam Shri Hemanta Biswa Sharma Launched Mukhyamantri Sva-Niyojan Yojana to provide Financial Assistance to the New and Small Entrepreneurs. Under this scheme a one time Seed Capital of Rs. 2 lakh will be provided to 1 lakh Young Entrepreneurs. During the budget presentation the Finance Minister said that the Budget allocation of Rs. 1000 Crore has been Allocated for the financial year 2023-24. An estimated budget of 5000 crore for next three years. Through Mukhya Mantri Sva-Niyojan Yojana, Assam Government has sown seeds of a huge employment boom that will be built on the twin pillars of talented Assamese entrepreneurs and State Govt’s unprecedented support to nurture their talent.

Objectives of Assam Mukhyamantri Sva-Niyojan Yojana

To support New and Young Entrepreneurs to Start Small Enterprises.

One time Seed Capital of Rs. 2 lakh will be given to the 1 lakh Young Entrepreneurs.

Seed capital to be provided in Tranches in 3 years. 

To boost Self Employment in the State of Assam. 

Benefits of the Mukhyamantri Sva-Niyojan Yojana

Young Entrepreneurs will be able to get Seed capital from the Government to start their Business or Enterprise.

1 lakh entrepreneurs will be able to get Seed capital from the Government to start Business. 

The Government of Assam Will provide 2 lakh Rupees to the Entrepreneurs for the period of 3 Years.

Ayushman Asom Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2023

The Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma has launched Mukhyamantri Ayushman Assam Yojana which is also known as the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana from Guwahati. Around 56 lakh Families in Assam will get Cashless Insurance up to 5 Lakh under this Scheme. Both Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Ayushman Asom Yojana are Complementary to each Other as both Schemes provide Cashless Insurance up to 5 lakh Rupees. 

The Beneficiaries of the Ayushman Assam Scheme will be listed under the National Food Security Act (NFSA). Those Citizens who have Aadhaar Card and Are not Covered under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Shall be eligible for this Scheme. Around 300 Hospitals in Assam will be covered under this Scheme.

Swanirbhar Nari – Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme

Assam Government has launched the Assam Swanirbhar Naari Scheme for Women of the State to provide them Empowerment in hand woven items in the State. Under the Scheme, traditional hand-woven items are to be procured directly from the indigenous weavers without involving any middlemen. In the First Phase of Swanirbhar Nari Scheme there were 4,80,080 weavers Registered which led to total Prochred items 1,96,726 of worth Rs. 7.59 crore Rupees.

Beneficiary Weavers to be Registered Through the Swanirbhar Naari Portal and The registration of the weavers will be accepted subject to physical field verification of the weavers by the Departmental officials. 

Swanirbhar Naari Registration has been Started from 09 June 2023 and will be open till the 31 July 2023.

Assam Amrit Brikshya Andolan 2023

Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma announced on 8th June 2023, that 1 Crore Seedlings will be planted on 17 September 2023 from 08 AM To 11 AM Across the State. These Seedlings will be Termed Commercial Trees and will be Planted by Self Help Groups, ASHA, Educational Institution, Village Defence Party, Anganwadi Workers, Tea Garden Workers, and Individuals.

Under Assam Amrit Brikha Andolan, Financial Grant aid of Rs. 100 will be given as Direct Benefit Transfer after Planting the Seedling and Uploading the Image onto the Portal/App And Rs. 200 will be paid by the State government in the 3rd Year for the Survival of the Plant. Assam Amrit Briksha Registration can be done on Amrit Brikha Registration and Amrit Brikkha Andolan Portal.

The government of Assam has the Amrit Briksha Andolan app to Provide Facilities for Citizens to Take Pledge On 17 September 2023 during the Plantation of Seedlings. Citizens will have to Enter their Name, Date of Birth, District, Mobile Number, and PIN code of their area. The Following Amrit Briksha Andolan Pledge to be Taken By The Citizens.

“I pledge to plant seedlings on the occasion of Amrit Brikshya Andolan, 2023 and to protect these seedlings till their maturity. I also take a pledge for the protection of forests and conservation of wildlife. I further pledge to secure a sustainable future for the coming generations by following the Principles of Mission Life”.

Arundhati Gold Scheme

Government of Assam has introduced Assam Arundhati Gold Scheme for the Marriage in Assam, under this Scheme Financial Assistance will be provided by the Government to buy 1 Tola (10 grams) Gold. The Financial Assistance will be provided to both Bride and Groom for buying Gold.

Arundhati Scheme focuses on Providing Financial Assistance to those Families which are lagging behind the Social and Economic Status. The minimum Qualification Age of Bride must be 18 years and Groom must be 21 years old, and their marriage must be Registered under Special Marriage Act.

Assam Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme

Orunodoi 2.0 was launched on 3 December 2022 to provide Benefits to more than 24 lakh poor households in the State. Under this scheme, Women are given 1250 rupees per month as welfare for their life which will be transferred through Direct Benefit Scheme (DBT). Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme was launched to boost Government’s Poverty Eradication and women empowerment efforts, with an Estimated budget of Rs. 4000 Crore. This scheme will include around 10.58 lakh new Beneficiaries in the previous version of the Orunodoi Scheme, which will increase the total number of beneficiaries up to 27.77 Lakhs. 

There is a very important point in which Existing Beneficiaries of Deen Dayal Divyangjan achoni and Indira Miri Sarbojonin Bishwa Pension Achoni will be Submerged under the Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme. This will result in the Largest direct benefit Transfer (DBT) Scheme in the state of Assam. 

The Assam Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme covers the Expenses for Medicines for taking care of Health needs which is 400 rupees per family, Rs. 200 per family given to provide a 50% subsidy for the 4 Kgs of Pulses of a Family, 80 rupees are given as the 50% Subsidy for 4 Kgs Sugar, 150 rupees are given for the Fruits & Vegetables and Rs. 170 are given for the Essential needs and 250 rupees of Deen Dayal Divyangjan achoni and Indira Miri Sarbojonin Bishwa Pension Achoni . And this amount is Consolidated to Rs. 1250 per month for a family. These 250 rupees will be applicable of you are registered under Deen Dayal Divyangjan achoni and Indira Miri Sarbojonin Bishwa Pension Achoni otherwise 1000 rupees will be given.

150 Rupees Extra in 2023-24 Budget

Finance minister of Assam Ajanta Neog declared in budget presentation of 2023-24 that 150 rupees extra will be given to the Beneficiaries of Orunodoi Scheme. Hence total Amount that will be received by the Beneficiaries will be of 1400 Rupees.

Assam Deen Dayal Divyangjan Sahajya Scheme 2023 – Rs. 5000 for Person with Disabilities

In pursuance of the Persons with Disability Act, 1995 (now replaced by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act,2016), the Social Welfare Department, Assam has been taking various welfare schemes for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) with a view to empower them so that they could cope with in various fields with their unique abilities. As such, the "Deen Dayal Divyangjan Pension Scheme" has been undertaken during 2018-19 which has been considered to be one of the most beneficial schemes under the Social Welfare Department, Assam.

Objective of the scheme

The objective of the scheme is to provide a monthly pension of ₹1,000/- to each differently-abled person for taking care of their health. All the persons with disabilities having Disability Certificates issued by the competent Govt. authority of Health Services of the Districts of Assam will be covered under the scheme of "Deen Dayal Divyangjan Pension Scheme". The RPwD Act. 2016 has notified 21 Nos. of types of disabilities.

Under Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Rs. 300 till the age of 79 and Rs. 500 after the age of 79.

Under Deen Dayal Divyangjan Sahajya Scheme a one-time amount of Rs 5000 is provided by the government of Assam.

Under Deen Dayal Divyangjan Pension Achoni an amount of Rs. 1000 per month is provided by the government of Assam.

Inter Caste Marriage Scheme Assam 2023

No incentive will be given for second marriage

Atmanirbhar Assam 2023 – 2 Lakh Rupees to 2 Lakh Beneficiaries

Chief Minister of Assam Sh. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced to start Assam State's biggest self employment generation scheme. The name of scheme is "Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme".

The main objective of Government of Assam behind starting Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme is to encourage self income generation activities among youths and to promote entrepreneurship in State. Assam Atmanirbhar Scheme directly benefits the unemployed and micro entrepreneur youths who belongs to BPL and Low Income Group Families.

Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme is also known by some other name in Assam like "Mukhyamantrir Atmanirbharshil Asom Scheme" or "Mukhyamantrir Atmanirbharshil Asom Abhiyan" or "Assam Chief Minister Atmanirbhar Scheme". 

Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme Details :: 

Government of Assam will provide free of cost skill and entrepreneurship training of 1 month to all eligible youths of State.

Trained Youth will get Stipend of Rs. 10,000/- after successfully completion of training.

Now Assam Government will provide the Interest Free Loan under Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme to Trained Youth so that they can start their own income generation activity and become self employed.

This entrepreneurship loan will also consist Government Aid which will not to be returned back to bank.

Loan Amount under Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme are Rs. 2,00,000/-, Rs. 3,00,000/-, and Rs. Rs. 5,00,000/-.

This loan will be provided in two instalment and this consist both Government Grant and Interest Free Loan.

It is to be estimated that 2 lakh youth will get benefit of Mukhyamantrir Atmanirbharshil Asom Scheme in 2 Years.

After Training, Trained Youth will start any of the below mentioned activity under Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme :-

Self Employment Activity in Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Dairy and Poultry.

Packaging Business.

Ready Made Garments Business.

Plantation.

Setting Up of Wood Based Industry.

Fabrication Work.

Hardware.

Any Other Self Income Generation Activity.

Minimum Qualification need to avail the benefit of Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme is Class 10th Passed.

MMLSAY- Mukhya Mantri Luk Sevak Arogya Yojana

This year, the Assam government plans to implement a number of government initiatives and programmes. These programmes are based on the socio-economic development and livelihoods of Assamese citizens. A health insurance program called Mukhyamantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana is available to Assam state government employees. The current reimbursement plan for workers in state government will be replaced with this one under this plan. The user must register at the district kiosk in order to take benefit of this scheme. The Mukhyamantri Lok Seva Arogya Yojana for the State Government Employees, Retired Government Personnel of Assam, and Their Dependents was launched by Assam’s chief minister, Shri Hemanta Biswa Sharma. Both retired employees and currently employed Assam employees would receive medical coverage totaling 5 lakh rupees under this program. The Ayushman Bharat Yojana and this Scheme are extremely similar, except this Scheme is only for State Government Employees. Any person who is currently a beneficiary of a similar scheme will not be permitted to apply for this one.

Beneficiaries, along with their dependents, may register on their own or at district kiosks.

There will be kiosks at the Medical College or the Jt. Director of Health Services Office.

Online requests for advance payments are accepted from recipients.

The CGHS-approved rate will be used to pay medical treatment expenditures.

Hospitals will receive direct advance payments.

End-to-end claim processing will be managed by a single IT platform.

Payments will be made within a predetermined time limit of 90 days.

To stop false claims, the process would be connected to Aadhar.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam Mukhyamantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana

The applicants applying for Mukhyamantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Online MMLSA applications are only accepted from Assamese citizens.

The applicant must be an Assam State Government employee.

The applicant’s family members are also entitled to the program’s benefits.

The applicant is also eligible for MMLSAY if they are pensioners.
