Tier List Description

Aria is the first mage that is released that scales off defense. That means she can be built tanky and dish out some good damage. The good thing is she is very versatile and can fit into any team composition by building her around that team (fast or bruiser team etc.).

Her S3 provides her with self counterattack, self defense buff and then stealths + barrier her allies. This makes enemies that can only use single target attacks be forced to attack her, while she counters and build up her focus for the mega S2 passive attack.

Her S2 passive gives her crit rate bonus (easier to gear), crit damage bonus(as her health lowers) and upon gaining 5 focus, she unleashes a powerful AoE attack that dispels 2 enemy buffs and push them back as well. Pretty good if you would ask me.

Her S1 can hit 2 enemies and apply the hit chance debuff. Building her with some effectiveness and effect resistance as it is optional. Her awakening gives her some of those stats. However, for PvP, you may need them.

Build Notes

As for stats wise, here are the options:

  • 2k+ Defense
  • 10k+ HP
  • 100% Crit Rate
  • 200-300%+ Crit Dmg
  • 140-250 Speed
  • About 100% Effect Resistance

You’ll want to tune Aria to the speed of her team, which is why her Speed is so varied. Generally, she is not fast enough to be the opener, but she can go second ahead of your buffer or CR pusher. If you want her as a bruiser, then she can be slower with more bulk and perhaps effect resistance to avoid getting her buffs stripped.

Her biggest weakness is getting that counterattack buff taken off. It makes her vulnerable and easy to die to opposing damage dealers.

RECOMMENDED ARTIFACTS

Her Own Artifact
Scroll of Shadows meshes pretty well with her skillset. Thanks to her counterattack buff, she'll be attacking a lot off her turns.
Less Damage
[Acquired in Guild Shop] Due to how much damage Aria will be taking, Proof of Valor will be a good choice for her.
Cooldown Decrease
Etica's Scepter relies a bit on RNG and luck, but it can be a good choice for Aria. Her s3 will help build up to her ultimate skill, and that is what Etica is for.
Soul Burn
Tagehel is always a good artifact for any Mage to use. Aria is, of course, no different. She works great with Tagehel, if you can't think of anyone else.
