2019 war ein sehr aufregendes und positives Jahr für uns. Dieses Momentum wollen wir auch in das neue Jahr übertragen. Das Motto ist: Neues Jahr, neue Ideen & Projekte. Die Rettungshunde-Basis der chinesischen Feuerwehr (ADD) wurde mit Ende 2019 umbenannt zu China Rescue Dog Mobile Detachment. Die neue Abkürzung lautet CRDMD, die Adress- und Kontaktdaten der Organisation bleiben gleich.

Arbeitsgruppe IRO Experten

|
Wie in der NRO Info 03/2019 angekündigt, hat die IRO VertreterInnen von NROs eingeladen, an zwei Arbeitsgruppen teilzunehmen. Eine davon beschäftigte sich in den vergangenen Monaten mit der Auswahl und Weiterbildung von IRO ExpertInnen: IRO Richtern, Trainern, Beurteilern und Tierärzten. Ihre Vorschläge wurden mit der Technischen Kommission des IRO Vorstands abgestimmt, und bei der 107. Vorstandssitzung vom Vorstand diskutiert. Ergänzung: Maulkorbkontrolle
|

|
Wie in der NRO Info 11/2019 berichtet, ist eine Maulkorbkontrolle ab sofort Teil der tierärztlichen Kontrolle. Dies gilt nur für die Tierarztkontrolle beim IRO MRT.

Seit 08.01.2020 verstärkt Daniela Rupp als Leiterin des Referats für Marketing & Öffentlichkeitsarbeit das IRO Team in der Geschäftsstelle Salzburg. Als studierte Event- und Kulturmanagerin verfügt sie über vielfältige Erfahrungen im internationalen Marketing und strategischen Projektmanagement. Sie ist bei IRO für sämtliche Marketing- und Kommunikationsaktivitäten verantwortlich und Ansprechpartnerin für die Presse.

IRO Geschäftsstelle

Viele NROs und Hundeführer haben nur eine ungenaue Vorstellung davon, was täglich in der IRO Geschäftsstelle passiert. Deshalb werden wir 2020 immer wieder Einblicke in unsere Arbeit für die IRO, die NROs und ihre Förderer geben – welche Anfragen und Projekte unsere Mitarbeiterinnen täglich bearbeiten, wie die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Geschäftsstelle, Mitgliedern, Vorstand und IRO Experten funktioniert, und wer eigentlich hinter all den „IRO Aussendungen“, der Website und dem Shop steckt.

Erinnerung: Einsendung des IRO Fördergeldnachweises

|
Wie bereits in der NRO Info 12/2019 und per E-Mail vom 20.12.2019 angekündigt, ersuchen wir - sofern noch nicht erledigt - um die Zusendung der Unterlagen (Statistikformular und IRO Fördergeldnachweis) per E-Mail an die IRO Geschäftsstelle bis spätestens 10.02.2020.

Wir möchten darauf hinweisen, dass sich im Jahresplan ein Fehler eingeschlichen hat. Die Prüfung in Slowenien ist eine Flächenprüfung, keine Fährtenprüfung.

The search and rescue dog training base for public security fire fighting force (ADD) has been renamed to China Rescue Dog Mobile Detachment. The new short NRO name is CRDMD, the address and contact dates remain the same.

Working group: IRO experts
|
|
|
As announced in the NRO Info 03/2019, the IRO has invited representatives from NROs to take part in two working groups. One of them was working on the selection and further training for IRO experts: IRO Judges, Trainers, Classifiers, and Vets. Their suggestions have been brought to the IRO Technical Commission, and discussed by the IRO Executive Board in its 107th board meeting. Clarification: Muzzle check
|
|
|
As presented in the NRO Info 11/2019, a muzzle check will be integrated into the vet check as of now. This applies only to vet checks at the IRO MRT.

Since 08/01/2020 Daniela Rupp strengthens the IRO team in the Salzburg office as head of the department for marketing & public relations. As a graduate in event and culture management, she has a wide range of experience in international marketing and strategic project management. She is responsible for all marketing and communication activities at IRO and is the contact person for the press. Welcome to the team, Daniela!

Many NROs and dog handlers have a somewhat vague impression of what is going on daily in the IRO office. For this reason, in 2020 we will give some insights into our work for the IRO, its NROs and donors – which requests and projects our staff is working on daily, how cooperation works between the board, the office and the IRO experts, and who is actually behind “all the IRO emails”, the website and the shop.

As already announced in the NRO Info 12/2019 and by email on 20 December 2019, we kindly ask you - if you have not already done so - to send the documents (statistics form and IRO proof of use of funds) via email to the IRO office by 10 February 2020 at the latest.

Correction annual calendar
|
|
We would like to point out that an error occured in the annual calendar. The test in Slovenia is an area search and rubble test, not a tracking test.
The entry was corrected accordingly in the scheduling overview. We apologize for the mistake.
