What is P.L.A.Y?

P.L.A.Y is an acronym that stands for Preparing Leaders to Assist Youth. A youth seminar executed by the National Youth Board Jamaica.

What is the aim of P.L.A.Y?

P.L.A.Y is geared towards empowering and equipping youth leaders and potential leaders with knowledge, skills, and strategies that will help to guide and enhance their leadership in different churches. The programme is designed with informative and practical sessions, engaging discussions, and creative activities that will cater to the attendee's holistic development (mental, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual growth).

When is the event held?

P.L.A.Y is held annually in the first quarter. 

What is the dress code?

Attendees should dress casually. We recommend clothing that makes you feel comfortable as you will be sitting for most of the seminar.  

Why is there a contribution associated?

Your contributions assist with covering overhead costs including the speakers, registration and work materials, lunch, and refreshments. This cost is usually communicated before the seminar to allow for adequate preparation.   Will lunch be provided as a part of the package? Yes, lunch and other refreshments will be provided.

When can I register?

Registration is open online three (3) weeks before the seminar date. 

 Can I register at the venue?

Yes, however, we recommend that you register before the event to secure your space and for the relevant provision to be made for you.

 Are there any age restrictions for registration?

No, however, P.L.A.Y is geared towards current and future B.Y.F leaders. 

*Note: Younger children below the age of twelve 12 should be accompanied by a parent/guardian. 

 Will sessions be available post-seminar, and for how long?
