Happy Together, Learning for Life

Dysgu Hapus, Dysgu Byw

Dear All / Annwyl Bawb,

pBuzz Music Project

A great big 'Thank you!' to Gareth & Edward from NPT Music Service for attending school to deliver the pBuzz Music Project his week - click the link above to see the children 'feeling good'!!

Dinner Money

A polite reminder that as we move toward the end of the school year, dinner arrears will need to be cleared. School dinners are £2.35 per pupil per day and must be paid in advance. If you are unsure of your current credit on ParentPay, please contact Mrs Tucker in the school office.

Holiday/School Attendance

If you are taking pupils out of school for a planned holiday, please request a 'Holiday Form' from the School Office and return it prior to leaving. Please note that the school's Education Welfare Officer (EWO) monitors school attendance - currently, NPT are engaging with pupil's whose attendance is below 87%, however, this will rise to below 90% in September. These targets are set at a national level, but carried out locally by NPT's EWO staff.

Warm Weather

As the temperature rises, please ensure pupils are adequately protected by wearing hats, sunscreen, loose clothing and drinking lots of water!

School Uniform

Our school uniform can be purchased from Sportec. If you are in a position to donate unused/outgrown uniform, the school would welcome donations of jumpers etc, with particular need within the infant ages (3-7yrs) - diolch!

September 2022

As Welsh Government relax the last of their Covid rules in healthcare settings, we in school continue to plan forward.

From September 2022, we will revert to the pre-Covid routine of playing on the yard before the school bell is rung at 08.50am. Staff will remain on yard duty from 08.40 - 08.50 to ensure children play safely. We ask that you use your discretion when dropping pupils off in the morning - clearly, it is advised that younger pupils are supervised by an adult until handover.

Inset Day - 2022/23

Advance notice - the first INSET Day of 2022/23 will be Monday, 5th September 2022. Pupils will begin their new school year on Tuesday, 6th September!
