Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic, friendly, professional and self-motivated Junior Software Engineer (Backend Python) to join our expanding engineering team. As a vital member of the engineering team, you will help build, evolve and scale our modern web applications using Django, FastAPI and similar technologies. You will help our applications drive product innovation and success. You will have the ability to own large features from start to finish.
Job Responsibilities:
Good understanding of OOP, Data structures.
Strong knowledge of web frameworks (Django/FastAPI/Flask)
Extensive experience writing API integrations
In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Ability to build and consume RESTful web services.
Maintain best practices and quality code.
Write technical documentation if required.
Experience with modern-day development tools especially Git and JIRA.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Nice to have:
Contest programming participation experience
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
Understanding of microservice architecture.
Experience with design and UX principles of web interfaces.
Basic understanding of gRPC.
You will be a vital part of a dynamic team to help you achieve your goal as this position is goal-oriented.
Excellent command of English is a must.
