I really dig this Cliffs of Etretat oil painting by Moldovan artist, Andre Voica. It shows the cliffs and arches of Etretat in Upper Normandy, France. [It is in the Atlantic Ocean].

Andre takes great inspiration from Monet, who also painted this same scene in the 19th century.

I love the texture and the daubs of paint along the cliffs and the way he rendered the sky and water. It is such a clean and simple composition.
