Blossom of Hope 2021 Gala - A Night in Venice

Blossom of Hope's yearly fundraising gala is back for the 13th year!

This prestigious event is traditionally attended by the Lithuanian and international diplomatic, medical and business communities who support our campaign.  Entertainment, live auctions, food, drink and lotteries are the usual programme.

For the second time in a row, we are honoured that the Honorary Patron of the event is the First Lady of Lithuania Mrs. Diana Nausėdienė. We are further honoured that Her Excellency Ambassador of Finland Arja Inkeri Makkonen has come on board as our latest Goodwill Ambassador, alongside Professor Sonata Jarmalaitė, Director of the National Cancer Institute, and Lithuanian Olympic Committee Chair Daina Gudzinevičiūtė. Moreover, high-ranking members of the diplomatic communities from various countries will be attending.  

His Excellency Ambassador of the US Robert Gilchrist and Lithuanian journalist, TV Host and Star of Lithuanian Cooking Beata Nicholson will be our hosts for the evening.

The event is open to all who wish to participate and contribute to our cause to help us raise money to cover one year of breast tissue markers, crucial yet currently not covered by the State.

EVENT PROGRAMME

7 to 7.30 p.m. – Guest arrival, registration (Cocktails & wine, cold appetizers served)

7.45 p.m. – opening performance by Erica Jennings

8.00 p.m. – opening speech by the event hosts US Ambassador Robert S. Gilchrist and Beata Nicholson

8.05 p.m. – opening speech by Erin Gainer-Grigaliūnė, Chair, Blossom of Hope 2021

8.10 to 9.10 p.m. –   charity auction hosted by Gian Luca Demarco (Cocktails & wine, cold appetizers served)

9.10 to 9.30 p.m. hot appetizers served

9.30 p.m. – piano performance by Lukas Geniušas

To 12 p.m. – DJ

(Cocktails & wine, dessert, cold appetizers served)

Included in the price: "fourchette" style dinner (vegan options included), champagne and unlimited supply of alcoholic cocktails from a choice of four and one non-alcoholic cocktail, performance by singer Erica Jennings, piano performance by famous Russian-Lithuanian pianist Lukas Geniušas, photo wall with press photographers, participation in live auction and raffles, carnival entertainment all night long (mimes, actors, stilt walkers and more).
