This little revision, home learning or class worksheet comes with answers and helps GCSE students to understand Aerobic and Anaerobic Respiration in B4 GCSE Biology 🧬🌱.

It tests students on how the availability of oxygen affects the respiration reaction and balanced equation. The oxygen and glucose reactants as well as the products of lactic acid, ethanol, carbon dioxide and water are tested. Students will understand how anaerobic respiration occurs during strenuous exercise and that it is less efficient and releases less energy from each glucose molecule.
