Allowing your clients to benefit from skin that has been rejuvenated and resurfaced, giving the appearance of a brightened complexion and a healthy glow. 

This advanced treatment gains its popularity through the benefits of reduction of the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can also assist to reduce scarring, such as acne scarring on the face. Many clients suffer from areas of pigmentation on their skin and this in-evasive electrical facial treatment can also help lessen the appearance for such problem areas. 

On completion of this microdermabrasion course, you will be able to competently offer this service to your clients using the popular diamond-tip microdermabrasion facial technique.

This treatment is often booked as a course of treatments, with options for example, of 3, 6 or 10, making it a lucrative service to add to your portfolio as clients will book in regularly to see great results.

As we teach our courses one to one, we kindly ask students to provide their own model for training.

BC Beauty Training will provide all products and equipment for the course, you are not required to purchase any kit prior to completion of this course. During your microdermabrasion course, the educator will discuss different suppliers and brands with you, so that you can get everything you need in readiness for your new clients.

Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical method of skin rejuvenation by means of mechanical skin exfoliation and offers a modern, painless alternative to chemical and laser peels. It is a popular treatment amongst a range of clients, through different ages, gender and skin types. After treatment, clients will immediately notice their skin is smoother, and younger looking. The appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and scarring can also be reduced with this treatment. A course of microdermabrasion treatments is best to recommend for the best long-lasting results. Learn how to put together a treatment plan specifically for your client to meet their needs.

This effective facial treatment can be offered salon based or mobile and charging on average £45 per treatment.

Aside from getting great results for skin rejuvenation and problems areas, this facial is also extremely relaxing and great fun to do as a therapist. You can add it into your facial portfolio and work with many different skincare brands to compliment it.

During your microdermabrasion course, the trainer will discuss the training manual with you that you are sent out prior to attending your practical day. We encourage you to ask as many questions as you want so you feel fully confident about the treatment. 

After the theory has been covered and you’ve had a short break, you will get set up to perform the treatment. Your trainer will demonstrate each step bit by bit and you will carry out the treatment under supervision.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Here at BC Beauty Training, we specialise in one-to-one training, enabling us to give you our full attention and allowing you to take this microdermabrasion facial course at your own pace. We do offer courses to more than one student at a time. If you would like to take a course with a colleague or friend, or even want to train up your whole team, we offer a discount of 10% off of each of your course prices. We do like to keep our groups small, so as to not dilute the quality of our training. Groups can be up to 6 at one time. If groups are larger, we will have two trainers onsite.

We ask that students arrive on time for their course for a prompt start. Upon booking your course, you are sent out a detailed training manual to give you a head start on your training day. There is some home study included, which we ask is completed before your practical sessions. We start our training session by teaching and discussing the theory behind the treatment and discuss the course manual that you are sent upon time of booking. The remaining time of the course will be spent carrying out the practical aspect of the course, learning the treatment hands on with demonstrations and your educator guiding you through each step. We encourage you to ask questions throughout, so that you leave fully confident with your new skills.

Ongoing support is offered after training too. We are always on the end of the phone or an email if you need us!

Qualifications RECEIVED

QUALIFICATION RECEIVED

Upon completion of this course, you will receive an accredited diploma qualification. We are accredited by ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) and The Guild of Beauty Therapists, this enables you to gain insurance one qualified so that you can then offer your treatments to the public. Your certificate will be issued to you upon completion of both your theory and practical training, this is usually on the same day as your course. Copies or replacement certificates can be purchased for £5 each.

Our Brighton based beauty training courses are relaxed, friendly and to a certain degree tailored to suit your needs. We teach at your pace and our courses are easy to follow and understand. Not only do we teach our courses from our base in Brighton, we can also travel to you (additional charges apply).

We have been running our academy since 2013, first starting in Hove and now at our present venue in Patcham, Brighton.

We at BC Beauty Training feel that it is really important to assist you to achieve your personal goals and develop new skills to build you career or expand your portfolio. Whether you are new to the industry or looking to add further treatments, each course will give you the skills and knowledge to go forward.

Our business depends on providing complete satisfaction and exceeding the expectations of each and every one of our students. Also our reputation is built on the knowledge, trust, friendliness and experience of our trainers. They have all worked in the industry for many years and have a real passion for beauty.

We have a fantastic team working for us who are more like a family than working colleagues and this shows through in the training sessions/courses.

Working on a one to one basis allows you to choose the date of your course, if we have it free we can book you in, if that particular date has been booked we will give you the next available date. Our beauty training courses run from Mondays to Saturdays, including some evening courses too.

We can also carry out the training in your own home or salon, as well as at our treatment room. There would be a small charge for fuel, depending on distance of location if we come to you. If you would like a quote for this, please feel free to get in touch.

You can train in larger groups or pairs if you want to carry out the courses with friends or colleagues. A discount will be applied for multiple students training together.
