Repair & Share Foyle, a Derry-Londonderry Community Interest Company, aims to cut waste through community repairing and sharing initiatives. We champion a circular economy, focusing on projects like Repair Café Foyle and the upcoming Library of Things.

Our volunteers are dynamic, versatile, and deeply committed to skill-sharing.

Whether it's fixing electronics, appliances, or garments, or helping out with administration, communications and marketing - our dedicated team thrives on diversity.

We believe that everyone has a skill to share and that by coming together, we can tackle waste one fix ( and cup of tea) at a time. 

You will have the opportunity to volunteer in Derry-Londonderry or Strabane ( or both if your willing!)

Don't worry about giving your exact availability, we understand its hard to plan ahead. We will always check with you first depending on when you think you might be available so give it your best guess! As a heads up we usually host repair café events on the last Sat morning of the month.

Volunteer Preferences
When deciding to join what's app group or not, individuals should first review their personal privacy settings.

There are options to keep your information private for 'contacts only ' - which mean if you join a WhatsApp group, only people in your own contact list can view your number.

You will still be able to communicate within the group and receive messages outside of the group but WhatsApp will give you a warning that you are receiving a message from someone outside of your contacts list. Then it's on you to decide if you want to receive the message or not.
