Take your bird on a local climate march
Post your bird to a local political leader, a Councillor or MP and get your message heard.

Instructions
Print off the cut-out the bird below - click on the picture for a downloadable version.
1 Use craft scissors to cut out the wings and the body of the swallow. Use the dotted out-lines as a guide.
2 Personalise and decorate the bird using colours and/or craft materials.
3 Write a short message to world leaders on the bird’s wings. Think about the effect of climate change on where you live and what you want leaders to do to protect your town and its nature. Sign your bird with your first name.
4 Fold the wings in half along the central line.
5 Then fold each wing along its own dotted line. This dotted line is on either side of the central line.
6 Place the wings on the spine of the bird.
7 Glue-stick the wings to the bird’s body.
8 Photograph your bird and make it fly! See suggestions for what to do with your bird above.
