Stars Align Anime Reveals 12 More Cast Members

The staff of the original television anime Stars Align (Hoshiai no Sora) revealed more cast members for the series on Sunday.

The new cast includes: (Note: Some name romanizations are not confirmed)

• Shiina Natsukawa as Namie Ameno
• Maaya Sakamoto as Kinuyo Kasuga
• Makoto Furukawa as Takuto Murakami
• Takahiro Sakurai as Takayuki Sakurai
• Yūko Kaida as Sakura Muroi
• Kaori Nazuka as Aya Katsuragi
• Kazuya Nakai as Kenji Kyōbate
• Masaya Matsukaze as Ryōma Shinjō
• Ryōka Yuzuki as Tōma's mother

The anime will premiere in October on TBS and BS-TBS. The anime will have 12 episodes.

Kazuki Akane (Escaflowne series and film, Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, Birdy the Mighty: Decode, Noein - to your other self) is directing the anime at 8-Bit and is also supervising and writing the series scripts. Yūichi Takahashi is adapting the original character designs by illustrator Itsuka, and he is also serving as animation director. Miki Takeshita is in charge of scene setting, and Shiori Shiwa is directing the art. Jin Aketagawa is directing the sound at Magic Capsule. Flying Dog is responsible for the music, and instrumental band jizue are composing the music for the anime. Megumi Nakajima will perform the opening theme song "Suisō" (Aquarium).

The teen adolescence story revolves around the coming of age of boys in a junior high school's soft tennis team, which is on the verge of shutting down. Tōma Shinjō asks Maki Katsuragi, who has just transferred schools, to join the team.
