The Museum and Exhibition Center “St. Petersburg Artist”

The Museum and Exhibition Center “Petersburg Artist” is a collection of highly artistic masterpieces of painting of the second half of the 20th century by recognized masters.

The exposition of the museum consists of works by masters of the Leningrad school of realistic painting of the Soviet (1940–1980) and post-Soviet (1990–2000) periods.

This is the largest private collection of its kind – to date, the number of works presented in the “Petersburg Artist” is more than 3,000 paintings and sketches. From a small gallery, which began the development of the museum, “Petersburg Artist” has become a real cultural center.

Petersburg Artist was opened in 2005 in an old mansion built in 1855-61 by architect Karl Anderson.

The status of a private center made it possible to establish an art gallery on the basis of its own exhibition space, where you can purchase museum-level masterpieces of realistic art.
