1. AS YOU READ THIS INFORMATION regarding the fires, please pray as lead:
 

a) Los Angeles Democratic mayor Karen Bass has been criticized for slashing the Los Angeles Fire Department’s (LAFD) budget by $17.6 million for fiscal year 2024 to June this year, 2025. That is reported from Fox 11 News, citing LA City Controller Kenneth Mejia. And though the City of Los Angeles cut funding for its fire department, it allocated thousands of dollars to 

b) various progressive programs including a “Midnight Stroll Transgender Cafe” and a Gay Men’s Chorus. The budget also appropriated $8,670 for the “One Institute the International Gay and Lesbian Archives.” The ONE Archives at the University of Southern California (USC) Libraries currently has an exhibit titled “Sci-fi, Magick, Queer L.A.: Sexual Science and the Imagi-Nation.” That exhibit focuses on the occult and “the LGBTQ movement.” 

c) The LAFD was blasted for promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and its 2023 to 2026 strategic plan stated that DEI was one of its “key goals.” A stated priority of the city’s first “LGBTQ” and first female fire chief Kristin F. Crowley is “promoting a culture that values DEI." That is a key focus?!

d) Several LAFD Firefighters have spoken to FOX 11 about their frustrations with the budget cuts, and what they've meant for their ability to fight the fires.
"Sadly, the winds have been known for over a week, but staffing and budget cuts doesn't allow to plan and prepare and pre-deploy as we should have," one LAFD firefighter told Fox 11.

e) On LA Mayor Karen Bass's orders, the city maxed out its budget to 'attract private-sector talent', hiring Department of Water and Power (LADWP) CEO Janisse Quiñones on a $750,000 salary in May – almost double that of her predecessor.

leading to firefighters running out of water as they battled the devastating Palisades Fire this week. (DailyMail.com)
 

f) Another firefighter said that the department has held some of them from doing their job because there weren't enough fire engines to put them on.

g) Governor Gavin Newsom is holding back $50 million from being released to help with the fires. The deal he made reportedly sets aside $25 million to help California fight the Trump administration in court (what good is that, let him focus on being President!) and another $25 million to help shield illegal immigrants, including those who have committed crimes, from deportations.

3. Please continue to pray for Israel, our dear friends there, for the hostages and their families, for wisdom for the Leaders, safety for the IDF, and as led...

4. Please continue to pray for the Lord to expose evil operating through demonically led people...they will be arrested, held accountable, delivered and saved. And more NO harm to children and the innocent, and no harm to America.

We believe through prayer that in this New Year, the name of Jesus is being testified, being shared, is being honored in our region. Only through Jesus can our communities be free!

We believe through prayer that Holy Spirit is exposing the anti-Christ, liberal agenda and wicked spirits in our region as veils are being removed, glory!

PRAYER REQUESTS

1. Lord, please bring prayer back into our school districts. May there be Bible Studies and Christian Prayer Groups established, in Jesus' name. 

2. Lord, we pray for our school district leaders, for their wisdom and Godliness. We pray that You would protect what our schools will allow our children to read and discuss. We ask that You protect our children's ears eyes and hearts as they learn and mature, and become more like You, in Jesus' name.

3. Continued prayers please for firefighters, first responders, people, and animals affected by the fires in the Los Angeles and Ventura regions, as Holy Spirit leads.
