SmartAgriHubs, an Horizon 2020 project dedicated to building a network of digital innovation hubs across Europe, ended last September. The SmartAgriHubs Gender Taskforce is a crucial part of its legacy: building on success and lessons learnt, several stakeholders are now launching GAIA – the Gender Alliance for Innovation in Agriculture.

Questionnaire to suppliers in the agricultural and food supply chain on unfair trading practices (UTPs)


This survey by the JRC and the DG for Agriculture and Rural Development of the EC is carried out across all Member States and it targets suppliers covered by the Directive at the different stages of the agricultural and food supply chain. Available until March 15th, 2023.
   


Ruralizable looks for entrepreneurs aiming at boosting rural innovation


(Just available in Spanish) This initiative looks for ideas and projects to improve the future of the rural world. Projects will shoot up through an entrepreneurship hackathon accompanied by specialized mentors. A selection of projects will have the opportunity of participating in South Summit 2023.
Registration is until March 27th, 2023.    


EIT Food programs application open: Seedbed and FAN


Seedbed, the incubator program, is focused on aspiring entrepreneurs and researchers looking for market-validated business propositions. The EIT Food Accelerator Network (FAN) is targeted for (pre-)seed agrifood startups looking for tech validation and business acceleration to drive a successful market adoption.
Closing date: March 26th, 2023.

Smart Specialisation Strategies Conference 2023

Interreg Europe: Info days 2023 in your country


Points of contact of the Interreg Europe 29 Partner States organise information days to present the programme and its key features in local language, if possible. The upcoming events will inform mainly about the second call for proposals, expected to be opened from 15 March to 9 June 2023.
