Perfekt place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city and relax in nature. The room was large and spacious (Family room) We loved the Aesthetic interior in the rooms and outside. Enjoyed a great time at the beach (at low tide). Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Amazing breakfast, very tasty food… we loved the Tuna steak.

Super nice and helpful! We loved Justina, Esther and Susi but honestly the boss who runs the place is defensively Tiger the cat. 🐈😻 we are still in love with him! Breakfast, lunch and dinner was always more than good and the special evenings as Masai night and live music was really fun! Thank you for planning our trips, our transports to the airport and all other requests we had and for those awesome ice coffees at the pool. 😍

Marafiki bungalows is a peaceful place with a few nice and spacious rooms most of them with sea view. Away from the crowd. Surrounded by a well maintained garden With a beautiful swimming pool facing the sea and windy enough to enjoy all day under the trees in the shade despite the hot weather. Drinking water is free and you can refill your bottle any time. Fruits drink are freshly squeezed ( very tasty) and the open air restaurant is well located. The staff is helpful and smiling and the owners incredibly friendly and helpful. Our kid got sick and we have been promptly helped with a doctor. We appreciated it very much.

Such a lovely resort! Loved the interior! Lovely staff. Our 2 year old got ill during holiday and receptionist has helped us to arrange the doctor visit! We appreciate it very much! Great views in the hotel, we haven't really left the hotel for 3 days as little one was ill, but it's always something going on in the hotel. They had Swahili food theme, Zanzibar native dance show etc and I even have attended yoga class in the morning which was very much needed! Food is also fabulous! Everything is under one roof and you can even arrange excursions. It's great for people who likes resorts! We have only stayed 2 nights and it was more than enough as we like to try different local restaurants and mix with locals. As it's a resort it's not a walkable distance to city centre and in all honesty I am not even sure if Kiwengwa has a city centre :D Would recommend and would come back again.
