2023 Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) by EIT Food


EIT Food looks for female entrepreneur with passion for the agrifood sector and a business idea, and located in Estonia, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Romania and Ukraine. This program is directed towards personal development as an entrepreneur, being open to different parts of the startup process from an unestablished idea to an established startup looking for financing. EWA is run in the local language.
Deadline: JUNE 12th, 2023.
   


Public consultation on the EU’s climate target for 2040


The European Commission has launched a public consultation to gather people’s views on the EU’s intermediary climate target for 2040, setting a path from the already-agreed 2030 targets to net-zero emissions by 2050.
Until June 24th, 2023.
   


Commission Expert Group on the Interim Evaluation of Horizon Europe


A group of up to 15 members will provide an independent, external perspective on the Framework Programme evaluation. The Expert Group will draw up, in a report, strategic recommendations on maximising the impact of EU Research and Innovation programmes in the future. The group will base its report on the Horizon Europe interim evaluation and Horizon 2020 ex-post evaluation findings and conclusions, and the results of a European foresight exercise for future Research and Innovation policy.
Deadline: June 13th, 2023.
   


EGDC Deployement guidelines


The guidelines will provide recommendations for developers/providers and buyers/users of digital solutions, as well as investors and policy makers.

1st ICAERUS Open Call


ICAERUS looks for pioneers in the drone industry, specifically: drone manufacturers, AI and IoT companies, research institutes and start-ups or SMEs exploiting (big) data. The PUSH Open Calls for Innovation Development will award 4 successful applicants with up to 60,000 €.

GREEN ERA-HUB: Contributions towards a sustainable and resilient agri-food system


GREEN ERA-HUB is seeking research proposals that focus on enhancing the sustainability and resilience of the agri-food system. From climate-smart agriculture and precision farming to circular economies and sustainable supply chains, it welcome contributions across various areas which can unlock new solutions, technologies, or practices that benefit farmers, consumers, and the environment.

Pre-registration of proposals: 20 July 2023, 12:00h CEST
Full proposal submission: 7 September 2023, 12:00h CEST

 

Implementing co-funded action plans for connected regional innovation valleys


This action is intended to create connected regional innovation valleys across the European Union, involving regions with lower innovation performances, by building on strategic areas of regional strength and specialisation (defined in their smart specialisation strategies), in support of key EU priorities. Successful applicant regions under this call topic will be recognised as “regional innovation valleys”.

European Green Digital Coalition Deployment Guidelines – Workshop for agriculture sector

EIT Food 2023 Annual Event


At EIT Food's 5th Annual Event Transforming Food Systems, it will address unblocking barriers to systemic change and prioritising systemic solutions.
