SF Sketchfest presents a pairing from a dozen hand-picked stand-up comedians on the rise: names you might not know now, but will be hearing a lot from soon. With Will Miles and Ever Mainard, Hosted by Phil Griffiths.

Ever Mainard is a non-binary, award winning actor, writer, and comedian. Most recently a Just for Laughs New Face of 2022, and one of Vulture Magazine's Comics You Should Know for 2022. Ever is also 1/2 of the critically acclaimed Podcast -Y'all Gay-

Variety Magazine describes Ever as a “Wildcard,.. Hysterically funny and a force one can see a mile away...” for their performance in Netflix’s The Feels, opposite Constance Wu. Ever has also been seen as Lomey in Mark Duplass’ Paddelton, and stars as Marcy in Conan O’Brien’s new digital series, Meet the Staff, and is the voice of the Whisperer in Disney's The Mysterious Benedict Society.

Ever has written for beavis and butthead, Scy-Fy, E!, Huffington Post, The Guardian, Wilshire Studios and more. Ever has been rated as one of the Top- 3 U.S. Imports in the Edinburgh Fringe for their one-person show, Let Me Be Your Main Man, and has performed stand-up across the U.S. and Europe.

Ever’s spontaneous characters, quick-witted anecdotes, and quirky mannerisms will have you laughing well after their performance. Their background in improv gives them the ability to create visceral and border line cathartic moments in their crowd work and off the cuff riffs.

Will Miles is a writer and stand up comedian from Chicago. His debut comedy special, Comedy Central's "The Half Hour Presents Will Miles," came out in 2019. That same year, he also appeared on Comedy Central's "South Side," Comedy Central's "The New Negroes," and IFC's "Sherman's Showcase." Before that, he made guest appearances on HBO's "Crashing," Hulu's "Difficult People," and was a frequent correspondent on TruTV's "The Chris Gethard Show." Miles was also one of the co-hosts of the wildly popular Comedy At The Knitting Factory show in Brooklyn for five years, along with Clark Jones and Kenny DeForest. On the writing side, Will has written for Freeform's "Grownish," Comedy Central's "South Side," IFC's "Sherman's Showcase," Nickelodeon's "All That" and TruTV's "The Chris Gethard Show," among others.

As far as mid-life crises go, Phil Griffiths' wife stacks his career in stand-up comedy as better than a drug addiction but worse than him having a mistress. With his dry deadpan humor, Phil shares his slightly off observations on life. Phil has opened for Kyle Kinane, Beth Stelling, Laurie Kilmartin, Josh Blue, Ms. Pat, Chad Daniels, Jackie Kashian, Jermaine Fowler, Brad Williams, and more. He also produces and hosts Comedy Sharks, a successful comedy showcase in the Bay Area, as well as a co-host, producer, and writer for Blabbermouth, a comedian game show on Twitch.
