EPPING: Freedom of Information request reveals overwhelming opposition to South Epping development and minimum of 450 homes
3.41pm - More than 70 per cent of people who took part in the public consultation over proposals for a minimum of 450 homes on various South Epping sites opposed the plans, The Epping Society has said.

HASTINGWOOD: Suspected drink-driver arrested after three injured - with woman in life-threatening condition - after M11 crash
7.40pm - Police are appealing for information after three people were injured - with a woman in a life-threatening condition - following a three-vehicle collision on the southbound M11 near junction 7 at Hastingwood at about 6.45am.
A woman aged in her 60s suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Two other casualties received hospital treatment for injuries described as not life-threatening or life-changing.
A man, aged in his 50s, from Coventry, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and remains in custody for questioning.

EPPING: Rotary club appeals for items for 'Mary's Meals' charity
8.01am - The Rotary Club of Epping is appealing for help to feed hungry children in some of the world’s poorest countries.
'Mary’s Meals' is a charity which the club has supported for many years. It provides nutritious school meals to 2.4 million children every day across 16 countries.
The club is appealing for various items which can be recycled and turned into cash to feed children - jewellery and watches (even if damaged or broken), mobile phones, iPads, tablets, Sat-Navs, MP3 players, games consoles, cameras (old film, digital, video), and foreign currency.

The squad’s competitive fixtures will be in the SAFIB Bob Docherty Tournament (April 14-17) when England face Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Scotland in a round-robin format.
