ED SHEERAN and Justin Bieber have teased fans with an 18-second clip of their new track I Don't Care before its release tomorrow.

The new song comes four years after the pair collaborated on Justin's hit single Love Yourself, with the two stars confirming that they had teamed up for a second time earlier this week.

They have now released a preview of the track to KMFM radio, where 28-year-old Ed can be heard singing what is presumably the song's chorus while Justin, 25, provides backing vocals.

The lyrics are: "'cause I don't care, as long as you just hold me near, you can take me anywhere, and you're making me feel like I'm loved by somebody.

"I can deal with the bad nights, when I'm with my baby."

Fans were delighted by the sneak peek, with one tweeting: "Oh wow, this is going to be a smash."

Another added: "Now this is a good start to a pop song."

A third wrote: "Wow, their voices really go together."

British singer Ed teased more lyrics on his Instagram page earlier this week.

Fans first started to speculate that the two hunks had joined forces again last month when Justin tweeted "big fan" to Sheeran and the pair teased similar photos to their social media accounts with "10" as a caption.

While Justin posted two separate photos of he and Ed posing in front of a green screen, Ed edited the two together so that it looked like they were embracing and holding hands.

Ed added: "Photoshop spoon" to his Instagram caption.

Both of their managers, Scooter Braun and Stuart Camp, shared the photos to Twitter on Tuesday.

Teasing the title of the song, Justin and Ed also posted a poll to their Instagram Story asking their followers: "Do you want new music?"

The three answer options were "yes", "no", and "I don't care".

Confirming the collab, Justin shared a photo of Ed as he told his fans: "I have a song with this sexy beast coming out on Friday, less than 48 hours."

The Candian singer hasn't released a new album since 2015, but delighted fans in April when he made a much-anticipated return to the stage during Ariana Grande's headline Coachella set.

A source told People at the time: "It was a big deal for Justin.

"He hasn’t performed in a long time. He was very excited though and felt even better after.

"He loved reconnecting with his fans."

Meanwhile, Ed released his most recent album, Divide, in 2017.
