In der Forschung wird statt „The Work of Byron Katie“ auch häufig die Bezeichnung IBSR (Inquiry-based Stress Reduction) verwendet. Dieser Begriff ist an MBSR (achtsamkeitsbasierte Stressreduktion, auf englisch: Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction) angelehnt.
