Chaudhry Muhammad Sarfraz, Central President Punjab Teachers Union has said that he rejects the decision not to increase salaries and pensions.

According to details, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarfraz, in his address to the teachers union, said that he rejects the decision not to increase salaries and pensions.

On the occasion, Syed Sajjad Akbar Kazmi said that ignoring the employees in the current situation of uncontrollable inflation is equal to burying them alive, while Rana Altaf said that if the government cannot increase the salaries of the employees then bribery and zakat for the employees should be allowed.

Imtiaz Tahir said that the employees have been suffering from inflation for the last two years but the government has made the lives of the employees miserable by not increasing the salaries while Abdul Qayyum Rahi also said that the government should reconsider its decision and increase salaries by at least 25 per cent, medical and house rent by 100 per cent.

General Secretary Punjab Teachers Union Punjab Rana Liaquat Ali said that instead of putting ointment on the deep wounds of inflation, the government has sprinkled salt on the employees, will work with other employees’ organizations to plan for the future action against the anti-employee policy.

It should be noted that earlier the federal cabinet had decided not to increase salaries and pensions. Salaries and pensions will remain the same as last year, the budget was approved in a special meeting of the federal cabinet.
