Team Workspaces

A team workspace is a fully separate Cuttly dashboard — its own links, its own domains, its own analytics, its own API. Only the team owner needs a paid plan; everyone else joins free.

Definition

A team workspace in Cuttly is a dedicated, separate dashboard for managing links within a specific project or organisation. Each team workspace operates independently:

• Links added to the team dashboard are visible only within that team's dashboard
• The team's links, domains and analytics are completely separate from the owner's personal Cuttly account
• The team workspace is accessible from the left menu in the main Cuttly dashboard
• Multiple teams can be created under one account — each with its own independent workspace

Who Needs a Team Subscription

Only the team owner's account needs a Team or Team Enterprise subscription plan. Members invited to join the team do not need their own paid Cuttly subscription — the owner's plan covers team functionality for all invited members.

This is a significant practical difference from individual plan-based collaboration: one Team plan on the owner's account enables the entire team to collaborate, regardless of how many members are invited.

What Each Team Workspace Contains

• Dedicated link library. Links created in the team workspace are visible only within that team. Team members with appropriate roles can create, edit and view links. Links are separate from all other teams and the owner's personal account.
• Custom domain configuration. Branded domains added to the team are available to team members with link creation permissions. Domain configuration is separate per team.
• Team analytics. Click statistics for all team links, accessible to team members according to their role (all roles including Viewer can see statistics).
• Dedicated Team API. Each team has its own API separate from the owner's personal account API. Team members with Owner or Admin roles can generate the team API key.
• Team communicator. Built-in messaging within the team workspace, accessible to Owner and Admin roles.
• TRAI Tracking HEADERs. For Indian SMS compliance, TRAI headers can be configured at the team level — manageable by Owner (add and set) and Admin (set only) roles.

Multiple Teams: Organisation by Project or Client

Multiple teams can be created under one Cuttly account. Each team operates as a fully independent workspace. Common structures:

• Agency use. One team per client — each client's links, domains and analytics in a completely separate workspace. Agency team members are invited to relevant client teams with appropriate roles. Client separation is structural, not just organisational.
• Multi-brand business. One team per brand or product line — each brand's link management in its own workspace with its own branded domain.
• Project-based organisation. One team per major project or campaign — links, analytics and collaborators grouped by project context rather than by user.
