Can I use any subdomain as my custom domain?

In Cuttly, you can add any subdomain just like a domain, as long as you own it or have the rights to use the added subdomain you want to add.

To add your own subdomain to Cuttly, you need to add it after logging in to Cuttly and setting changes to the records of the subdomain you want to add: DNS A and DNS TXT. Note that DNS changes must be made for the subdomain.

A DNS A record is required for subdomain to function properly to work with short links. It should be remembered that if there is a website ora any content on the subdomain being added, it will not be available after changing the DNS A record.

DNS TXT is required for domain verification.

Once added, subdomain must be verified and approved in order to be used to create your own links.
