Action Pages Your CTA Landing Page. One Link.
A short link that is also a landing page — with your logo, a video, a countdown, and one CTA button. Built in minutes inside Cuttly. No separate tool required.
Most short links redirect to a page you do not control. An Action Page is the page. You build it in Cuttly, set the CTA destination, and share one link. Whoever opens it sees exactly what you want them to see — a focused message and one button to click. See a live example: cutt.ly/c/cuttly
Action Pages use the /c/ path — on the Cuttly domain that means cutt.ly/c/your-alias, and on any branded custom domain you connect it means your-domain.co/c/your-action. Every Action Page can have a custom alias, a QR code, and full click analytics — all managed from the same Cuttly dashboard where you manage your short links.
What an Action Page contains
When you create an Action Page in Cuttly, you start with a destination URL — the page your CTA button will send visitors to. From there you can add and edit any of the following elements using the editor toolbar:
- Logo — your brand image at the top of the page (JPG, PNG, GIF up to 960×960px)
- Title — the main headline visible to visitors
- Description — a short supporting text below the title (optional)
- Video — an embedded YouTube or Vimeo video displayed between the description and the CTA button
- Countdown timer — time remaining to a specific date and time (UTC); optionally disables the CTA button at zero
- CTA button — custom label and destination URL; the destination link is shortened by Cuttly automatically
- Background — predefined gradient, custom solid color, library image, or your own uploaded image
- Visual template — button shape (Rounded / Square / Oval), fill mode, header alignment, text color, font family
- Custom alias — set your own back-half for a memorable, campaign-specific URL
- Privacy & Terms URLs — optional links to your privacy policy and terms, shown at the bottom of the page
All changes save immediately and appear live on the page. Every element is optional except the CTA button destination — the page is designed around a single action.
Branded domains and the /c/ namespace
Action Pages use the /c/ path across the entire Cuttly platform. If you have a custom domain connected to your account, your Action Pages are published at your-domain.co/c/your-alias — the same domain you use for branded short links now also hosts your call-to-action pages.
This means a URL like your-domain.co/c/spring-sale or your-domain.co/c/launch can appear on printed materials, in ad campaigns, in emails and in social posts — short, branded, and pointing to a focused page you control completely, not a homepage or a third-party platform.
Custom alias tip: set the alias before you share the link or generate the QR code. Changing the alias after distribution changes the URL — the old link stops working and any QR code generated for it becomes invalid.
QR codes for Action Pages
Every Action Page in Cuttly can have a QR code generated directly from the dashboard. Click the QR code icon next to any page in the Action Pages list to open the customization panel.
QR code options available for Action Pages:
- Quality — L, M, Q, H (use H for print to maximize error correction)
- Width — output size in pixels (default 512px; increase for large-format print)
- Margin — white space around the code
- Dots style — Dots, Rounded, Classy and others
- Background and dot colors — match your brand palette
- Corners square and dot style — Extra Rounded, Dot, Square
The QR code is tied to the Action Page URL — generate it after the alias is finalized, and before distributing in printed materials.
Analytics and CTR
Cuttly tracks click statistics and CTR (click-through rate) for every Action Page. CTR measures the ratio of visitors who clicked the CTA button compared to total page visits — the key metric for understanding whether your page and offer are working.
The CTR for each page is visible at a glance in the Action Pages list. Click the Analytics button for a detailed view of click data over time.
Analytics retention by plan: 180 days on the Single plan, 1 year on the Team and Team Enterprise plans. All analytics data in Cuttly is aggregated and anonymized — individual visitor data is not tracked or stored.
When to use an Action Page
Action Pages work best when you need a focused, purpose-built page fast — and a plain short link redirect is not enough, but spinning up a full landing page takes too long.
- Flash sales and limited-time offers — countdown timer + CTA button; disable the button automatically at expiry
- Product launches — teaser page with countdown, product video, and a waitlist or pre-order button
- Event registration — event title, description, registration deadline countdown, and a link to your registration form
- Paid ad landing pages — message-matched page per campaign; create in minutes without a developer
- Partner and influencer promos — unique page per partner with a custom alias for separate CTR tracking
- Print and offline campaigns — QR code or short URL on packaging, flyers, or direct mail; the page bridges the gap between the printed message and the destination
- Email campaigns — reinforce the email offer with a page that tells the full story before the visitor clicks through
Action Pages vs. Link in Bio — what is the difference
Both are Cuttly features that create pages behind short links. They serve different purposes:
| Link in Bio | Action Pages | |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Share multiple links from one profile page | Drive one specific action via one CTA button |
| Links per page | Many destinations | One CTA button, one destination |
| Countdown timer | No | Yes |
| URL format | cutt.ly/bio/alias • cutt.bio/alias | cutt.ly/c/alias • your-domain.co/c/alias |
| Best for | Social media bio, content creators | Campaigns, offers, launches, events |
| Available from | Free plan (basic) | Single plan ($25/month) |
Use Link in Bio when you want one URL that leads to many destinations. Use an Action Page when you want urgency, a specific offer, and a single action.

Action Pages are available from the Single plan and above. They are not included in the Free or Starter plans.
